Ripe Route collects nothing about you. No analytics, no cookies, no accounts, and no record of who visits or what they look at.
What is collected
Nothing. There is no analytics script on this site, no tracking pixel, and no third-party code of any kind. Nothing is written to a database, because there is no database behind these pages — they are static files.
There are no accounts and no way to create one. Nothing here asks for your name, your email address, or your location.
Cookies
This site sets none. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What your browser reveals anyway
Requesting any page from any website tells the machine serving it your IP address. That is how the response finds its way back to you, and no site can avoid it.
What a site chooses to do next is the part that matters. This one keeps no record. Access logging is switched off on the content delivery network that serves these pages, so request logs containing IP addresses are never written in the first place — they are not collected and then discarded, they are not produced at all.
Amazon Web Services operates the servers and network that deliver this site, and processes requests in transit as any host does. Their own operational and security records are outside anyone's control but theirs.
Third parties
There are none. Every asset this page loads comes from this domain. No font service is contacted — typefaces are either already present on your device or served from here. There are no embeds, no video players, and no social widgets.
The site's content security policy permits connections to this domain and nowhere else, which means a third-party request could not be made even by accident.
When this changes
Anonymous, aggregate usage measurement may be added later — enough to know which tools get used, and nothing that identifies anyone. If that happens, this page will be rewritten to describe it before the measurement goes live, not afterwards.
The same applies to anything else that changes what this site does with a request. This page describes what is running today, and the date below is how you can tell when that description was last checked.
Who runs this
Ripe Route is built and operated by David Rooney. It is a personal project, not a company, and it is not funded by advertising or by anyone paying for data about you.
